Frequently Asked Questions
-
WHAT TO BRING
If you’re bringing children, please bring a properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jacket for each child. Feel free to pack your favorite snacks and beverages to enjoy during the trip. We also recommend bringing a waterproof jacket in case of rain or changing weather conditions.
-
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety is our top priority! A little rain won’t stop us from fishing, but we always evaluate conditions before heading out.
If high winds make an offshore or nearshore trip unsafe, we may offer the option to switch to an inshore charter or reschedule for another day.
In the event of lightning, severe weather, or unsafe wind conditions, we will not depart. Captain Cody will work with you to reschedule or cancel your trip in accordance with our cancellation policy.
All weather-related decisions are made at the captain’s discretion with your safety in mind.

What species can we catch?

Every trip offers a new adventure, and what we target depends on the season, conditions, and your fishing preferences.
-
Can we keep the fish we catch?
Absolutely! As long as your catch meets all applicable size, season, and bag limits, you’re welcome to keep it. Some fish may be too large or too small to legally harvest, so those will be safely released. We practice responsible fishing and follow all regulations to help protect our fisheries for future generations.
-
How many guests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate up to six guests aboard our charter. For the most comfortable fishing experience, we recommend groups of four or fewer, but we’re happy to welcome parties of up to six!
